PROUST MONDAYS

Last week my amigacho Laura presented me with my own copy of The Proust questionnaire. Most of you are aware of it via Vanity Fair's monthly installment which is a replication of the famous 19th century questionnaire made famous by Marcel Proust. My copy is in the form of the original:
This kind of album from Victorian England was highly valued at the time by a bourgeois society in favor of an anglophile France. Entitled Confessions. An Album to Record Thoughts, Feelings etc., the book was an account of the dreams and hopes of rich turn-of-the-century individuals. Each page contained the same questionnaire, which consisted of twenty-four questions. The answers they elicited were supposed to provide insight into the inner soul of the participant by revealing his or her hidden feelings."
If Vanity Fair can do it then so can I, and what better way to provide insight into the core of the ToddSpot reader, n'est pas?! Alors. For the next six weeks I am going to provide the round of questions. I expect your answers in the comments section immédiatement. Following are today's set:
1. Your favorite virtue
2. Your favorite qualities in a man.
3. Your favorite qualities in a woman.
4. Your favorite occupation.
